Nope- Oklahoma allows 30 days of physical therapy without a referral, and no referral is needed for coaching/ training/ wellness services. If your physical therapy plan exceeds 30 calendar days, we will need a referral for ongoing services or we can elect to transition to performance training to continue your care- whatever you need is what we will do.
I am considered out-of-network with all insurance providers. This provides you and I much more freedom to determine the best course of action for you and allows us to delve deeper into a more comprehensive and holistic approach to your care. In short, I want to address the whole picture, not just the diagnostic code attached to your case. The majority of insurance providers will provide partial reimbursement once you submit a superbill (provided by me to you) for physical therapy services (not coaching services). Be sure to check with your provider if you are interested.
Insurance companies are constantly cutting reimbursement rates for physical therapy, forcing in-network providers to see more and more patients to make ends meet. Being out-of-network allows one on one care and puts you back in the driver's seat of your healthcare.
You are able to use your HSA or FSA card for physical therapy services, but performance training/ personal training may not be eligible.
